By using RideLynk — whether as a rider requesting transportation or as a driver providing transportation services — you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Account Information:

• Full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and profile photo
• Drivers additionally: Home address, Social Security Number or Tax ID for payment reporting, driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and background check reports including criminal history and driving record
• Payment information such as credit/debit card details and digital wallet tokens (processed securely via Stripe)

Usage Information:

• Precise GPS location data while the app is open and during active trips
• Trip details including pickup/dropoff addresses, distance, date/time, fare paid, and route taken
• Device information including IP address, device model, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers
• Usage data such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, time spent in the app, search queries, and crash logs
• In-app chat messages and customer support communications (recorded for quality assurance)
• Ratings and feedback you give to or receive from other users

We use your information to:

• Match riders with nearby drivers, calculate fares, process payments, and send trip receipts
• Detect fraudulent activity, verify identity, monitor for unsafe driving patterns, and enable emergency features such as sharing your trip location with trusted contacts
• Respond to customer support inquiries, resolve disputes, and investigate accidents or complaints
• Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs, improve route efficiency, and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax laws and lawful requests from law enforcement
• Dispatch drivers to nearby riders and calculate mileage-based earnings
• Send promotional emails and push notifications about offers or new features (you may opt out at any time)

We share your information only as necessary to operate our Services:

• With Riders: Driver name, profile photo, vehicle make/model, license plate, and current GPS location for trip matching and safety
• With Drivers: Rider name, profile photo, and pickup/dropoff locations to complete trip requests
• Payment Processors: Payment information shared with Stripe to charge riders and pay drivers
• Background Check Providers: Driver background check information shared with third-party screening providers
• Insurance Providers: Trip details and accident reports shared to process claims
• Law Enforcement: Information shared when required by law or court order
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, user data may transfer to a successor entity

👶 7. Children's Privacy

RideLynk is not intended for users under 13 years of age. Teens aged 13–17 may use RideLynk only with verified parental consent through our supervised RideLynk for Teens account.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.

🌍 8. International Data Transfers

We operate globally, and your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and other legal mechanisms to ensure adequate protection for international data transfers.
