Privacy Policy
How Ridelynk collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information across rides, deliveries and pet transport.
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy describes how Ridelynk (“Ridelynk,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the Ridelynk apps and website to book a ride, send a parcel, arrange pet transport, or drive to earn.
By creating an account or using Ridelynk, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run the service safely and to match riders, senders and drivers.
Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, and password.
- Profile information and, for drivers, verification documents such as a profile photo, driver's license, vehicle insurance, vehicle registration, and inspection details.
- Payment and payout details, processed by our payment partner (we do not store full card numbers).
- Support requests, ratings, and any messages you send through the app.
Information collected automatically
- Trip data: pickup and drop-off locations, routes, distance, time, and fares.
- Precise location data (with your permission) to enable pickups, routing, live tracking, and fare calculation.
- Device and usage information: device model, operating system, app version, identifiers, and log data.
- Cookies and similar technologies on our website, described in our Cookies Policy.
2. How we use your information
- Create and secure your account and verify your phone and email.
- Match riders and senders with nearby drivers and complete trips and deliveries.
- Calculate fares, process payments, and pay driver earnings.
- Send verification codes, trip updates, and service notifications.
- Verify driver identity and documents and keep the platform safe.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Location data
With your permission, we collect location data to enable pickups, calculate routes and fares, show live trip tracking, and match nearby drivers. Drivers share location while online so riders can track their trip.
You can control or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. Some features — such as booking a ride or accepting a trip — will not work without location access.
4. SMS, email & push notifications
We send verification codes and transactional messages (such as trip updates) by SMS, email and push notification, as described in our SMS & Messaging Policy.
We do not sell your phone number, and SMS consent is never shared with third parties for their own marketing. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS and manage notification permissions in your device settings.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
You can request deletion of your account at any time through our Delete Account page or in the app. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
7. How we protect your information
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. Payment card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment partner. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. You can:
- Access and update your profile in the app.
- Opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP.
- Manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
9. Children's privacy
Ridelynk is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes & how to contact us
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
